MONEY MANAGEMENT & BUDGETING
We help people budget their monthly income to pay bills and household expenses on time. Our knowledgeable team leans on their experience to advise individuals on common financial pitfalls often faced. As a result, your clients should not need to access their special needs trust to cover their monthly expenses.

​We encourage the use of the True Link Card, a customizable, reloadable Visa card that offers special needs trustees and guardians a simple way to disburse funds, manage how money can be spent, and protect client finances.
APPLYING FOR HOUSING &
PUBLIC BENEFITS
We gather the required documents, apply for, and advocate for all benefits available to our clients and frequently revisit eligibility for additional benefits as life circumstances change. Our Benefits Planners, certified through Cornell University’s Benefits Practitioners training series, assist our Case Managers when complicated situations arise.
COORDINATING MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS
Our Case Managers assist with making appointments and can accompany individuals to appointments if desired. We document what takes place at appointments for fiduciaries, so they remain up-to-date about their clients’ needs.
DAY-TO-DAY,
ONE-TO-ONE SUPPORT
Our Case Managers provide one-to-one support wherever the individual is most comfortable meeting – in their home, at a coffee shop, at the grocery store, and more.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
Our Case Managers will also assist with:

Record keeping and expenditure tracking

Leveraging our knowledge of local housing resources, tracking current and upcoming opportunities for vouchers, subsidies, below-market units, and compiling documentation for applications to apply for and secure housing

Hiring and training in-home care, including In-Home Support Services (IHSS), services through long-term care insurance policies, and private attendants

Working with individuals with a mental health diagnosis and referring them to a counselor, therapist, or 24-hour crisis support if needed

And additional customized services.
